Does your new dog need to learn some better manners? Do you need help surviving puppyhood? If you’re ready for life with a well-behaved canine companion, we’ll help you get there! Using balanced, reward based methods we have effective behavior and training solutions for recently adopted puppies and dogs as well as long-time canine companions. Check out our offerings for dogs of all ages and talents!

Puppy Basic Obedience - $150

This 6 week class establishes a foundation for good manners and maximizes your puppy’s socialization during critical periods of early development. The puppies will be introduced to basic obedience commands and owners will receive guidance with housetraining, nipping, chewing and other puppy behaviors. Upon graduation of this class you and your puppy will be prepared to move on to the Adult Basic Obedience Class.

Maximum of 15 puppies per class.

* For Puppies under 6 months

* All dogs must have their vaccinations.

 Saturday Puppy Class Starts  -  5/25/2024 from 1-2pm

Adult Basic Obedience - $200

This 6 week class teaches the fundamentals of training and builds a cooperative relationship between you and your dog that will last a lifetime. Weekly homework is assigned, and time must be spent practicing techniques outside of class for your dog to be successful. Fun interactive games will be played in class to make practicing techniques fun and to build your dog’s confidence. Upon graduation of this class you and your dog will be prepared to move on to our AKC CGC Class

*All dogs must have their vaccinations and 18+ months old

Intro To Sport  - $200

This 6 week class is a comprehensive training program designed to have you and your dog ready to take on any of life's many adventures. Covering basic obedience and into a more focused and fast pace way of communicating with your dog efficiently at home or on the agility course. This program gives you all the foundational tools you need to learn how teach your dog just about anything.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Prep - $250

The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (AKC CGC) certification is widely recognized for a high standard of dog behavior. This class prepares you and your dog to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test as well as improve on commands already learned.

The CGC Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will obtain a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Tests are given throughout the country by approved evaluators. This Prep and Test program is designed to prepare you and your dog for the CGC test. The first 6 weeks of this program prepares for the CGC test 

AKC Canine Good Citizen Finalized - $200

The goal of this 6 week class is to help enhance the relationship between you and your canine companion, while presenting you with real life challenges that prepare your dog to be a great citizen.when the CGC test is conducted.

Coursework includes preparing for the ten Canine Good Citizen Tests:

  • Accepting a friendly stranger • Sitting politely for petting

  • Appearance and Grooming

  • Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)

  • Walking through a crowd

  • Coming when called

  • Reaction to another dog

  • Reaction to a distraction, and

  • Supervised Separation

On graduation day, you and your dog will take the Canine Good Citizen test. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test are qualified to receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. To learn more, visit the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Program website.
