Reeds K9 Training was started by Kristina in 2020 to help the local dog community in North Dakota. Kristina got her start in dog training in 2012 working with aggressive dogs that where on death row. Through this work, Kristina found her passion for helping dogs who had behavioral and aggressive issues. After completeing her dog training certification in 2013 through Pen Foster, she continued her education by becoming a certified behavior & aggression trainer in 2015 and has continued training. She recently went back to school at North American Veterinary Community to complete her pet nutrition coaching certification. Kristina is passionate about helping dog owners build a strong relationship with their dogs and take the dream of the Ultimate Family Dog and bring it to life. Kristina's passion for dogs can be seen in the way she trains; she knows every dog is different and adjusts as needed. Kristina focuses on a balanced approach to training to encourage a strong relationship between dog & owner.

When Kristina isnt out helping clients with their dogs you can find her and her husband down on the Kenai fishing with their shepherds, in the back woods hunting or up in the mountains hiking.

Shani Berentson is the on site facility manager in Minot,ND. She is a passionate dog lover who has 16 years of experience working with dogs. She started out with her own dog in 4-H obedience and agility, winning multiple grand championships with her Corgi, Harry. From there she apprenticed under a master groomer to become a certifed groomer with specialty in dog hair dye in 2008. While working with dog trainers to learn best practices and dog psychology, Shani found her specialty in training reactive and aggressive dogs. From training, to competition, to grooming, she can do just about anything.

Shani looking forward to helping the members of the Minot community, and beyond. Not only train their dogs to be happy balanced members of their family, but to offer grooming, group classes, as well as agility and rally classes a! We are so happy to have her on our team as the facility manger in Minot.

When Shani isnt making clients dogs colorful, she is crafting at home, spending time with her kids and taming crazy kittens
